Canyon Solace

The Colorado River is one of the most impressive water pathways in the world. Few things soothe the soul quite like soaking in the beauty of nature and being reminded of a sense of scale. The Grand Canyon does that for me; putting things in perspective and filling me with a deep peace. This painting was inspired by my photos from a small private rafting trip we took several years ago.
